Unread post Moving TWGS to a new computer
I already have a registered version of TWGS that I've been running on a computer for several months. I want to move it to another computer and run it there.

I copied the files to the other computer and ran TWGS.EXE, but it acts like it is a fresh install, not an already previous installed program. (For example, it is installed for four games, but it only shows up as one default game.)

What files do I need to configure so it can run as it did on the old computer but on the new one?

Thanks!

If you moved all the games without archiving them and reinstalling. Just create a a game letter and activate and the games will populate once TWGS can see the letter associated to the slot. You won't need to rebang them.

The game descriptions are stored in the registry under HKLM\software\EIS (I think)... You can export this registry key from the old comptuer and import it on the new computer provided the paths are the same.
