Actually, I have heard you can run TWGS under wine on linux.

Yes, Wine is a pretty good emulator. I had my first TWGS running on top of Ubantu-Wine. But it's a huge resource hog imo.

Yeah, I kinda figured that it would be a resource hog. Most emulators are. Probably a very bad idea on a Raspberry Pi!

I'm running Windows 10 Preview on my older home computer. It is a Core 2 quad, so I don't expect it to run well, but it barely runs at all. Clicking on start can take several minutes top open, if it opens at all.

These new "Universal" applications are supposed to run on a tablet/phone, so why are they bombing on my PC?

My only explanation is that they are running under some kind of tablet emulator on the PC. It is the only thing I can think of that would make these simple lightweight apps with limited features run so badly.
