Is there any way we can block that?

I had a player on my server ask this recently. I think the dial-up BBS front-ends had this capability but I don't think TWGS does.

Isn't that what the "Hide Details on # List" does (Under Config tab -> Server Settings for each game letter)? Enable it and is only shows "1 Online".

He wants the global setting for the game menu to turn off #.

Oh in the game: Editor I/Three, Selection: 9.

There are also options to black out Daily Log and Highscores list for various timeframes in the other Editors.

That's a local game preference. I miss typed. Not the game menu, but the main server game menu.

No, server settings aren't tied to a game. Bad menu design... lol

No doubt.. that's what I get for "presuming". Seeing that setting under Big Bang, Tecit.. etc one would naturally assume that would stop the # from within the game you have selected.

Server settings need to be on the main page... grr... heh

haha yeah, that would be a good one.

I modified my passive gridder to check online status each sector. If there not online I'm hitting your fighter.

Has no effect on competitive games but casual games where I and others don't sit online 24/7 it is handy.

It is also has a use in competitive games, when an internet outage occurs you may have a few minutes (sometimes longer) before everyone gets back online.
