Again about that local console window you used in TWGS, I am implementing my own edit control which i have made from scratch and I am wondering if you just use TextOut() for the text etc. In my window, I use a string to represent each line of the edit control ( gives me 500 line scrollback). i was wondering how you interpreted all the ansi codes to do the drawing of the text in the right places on the screen. Did you just paint the text using coorinates or did you use a method similar to mine with strings for each line and have to disperse the ansi codes and text over a screen full of lines due to the cursor movement ansi codes in each line.
My helper is ready to have script execution added to it and be ready to go but i do kinda think without all the ansi colors, the game becomes a littlebit bland.
Thx for your reply.
Chaos.
