The War Room has some features completed...

The Links area is complete and ready to use... you can submit your web sites, games and other Trade Wars 2002 related info there. It has a hit counter and ranking system built in the top 5 links by rank and hits are displayed on the main page. The server pages will be updated soon I am writing an ASP app that will scan the listed game servers for settings and recent big bangs, for now the Links section is ready to go...

The TW Events calendar is ready to go as well you can add your game, get together or whatever Trade Wars related event you want up to 1 year in advance, with the next 10 events by date within 30 days of the current date (date of display) being shown on the main page. It will also show the 5 most recent events that have past, you can up date the event with results or what not after the event has passed.

The Player Spotlight is complete… kind of self explanatory but a random player’s profile is displayed on the main page (so make sure you complete your profile and include a picture)

The War Room News system is up and working... again self-explanatory…

Individual Start pages with user defined color schemes are done and ready… you can customize the look and content of the site from this area (as if my colors weren’t good enough!@ )

Private Instant messaging system is done and ready… it can be customized to send email when you receive a PM

Email Subscription is done… you can choose to receive the website updates, forum posts (not just post to you but from anyone in any category you choose … i.e. The Elite Café), notifications of new resources and again Private messages through email…

Site Search, Forum Search and Web Search all complete and ready… self-explanatory… search engines…

I also need some writers for the Elite Café (it will require an article once a month). This was a very popular feature of the original War Room and I would like to do it again with today’s top players (The Original had 6 of the very best Trade Wars players in the world) so I again will be looking for 6 players to fill these spots… I have a few in mind and they may have even got an email from me by now but I am open for others to step forward…
