ya know i think we may have stumbled onto some thing here...all this BS about whos the best and all that crap can be settleds with this...i dont know if anyone has done this or offered this but it could be one way to settle who is the best.....
wouldnt it be cool to see like Kemper VS Xide or Loki VS Res, what about a server to host like a tournament...1 on 1's say like a 64 person bracket or evan a 32 person bracket along the lines of supermans settings for me and wild, doesnt necessarily have to be grudge matches and stuff like that...but keep the same setting thru the entire tourney, could make it a turn based game, and so on, because me personally i think this thing about the best is all a popularity contest because how can you say who is the best? say for example....just an example...lol, ive played 1 deathmatch with xide, how do you all know if im better than him if you havent seen me play, same for CEO, if you havent played with me how do you know how i play, not trying to trash the system but i think it needs overhauled, no stats to back up the votes except for popularity. Now with the 1 0n 1's 3 death limit say like a week time limit then base it on assets if nobody has killed the other.....
How do we do this you might ask??? well thought of that too, a couple servers can work together to cut down on the time issues, for instance, kemper VS xide, Loki VS Res, and HHH VS Blasni play at alienbase and pesty VS Superman, Wildstar VS Night Hawk play at Attack Zone, sysops can work together and use this forum or make another to keep stats winners and stuff.....i like the idea....

each server that joins this should host matches and we should make a signup website for it (i will if no one else wants to) and set a random number and that will be who they go against till the winner is decided

How will the seeding work??? Will it be random or will the seeding be based on the popularity thing, I also think it should be turned based, high turns because whoever has the best scripts in an unlimited turn game and knows how to use them best wins )speed also matters) I'm not saying it should be super low turns, something reasonable. The edits should also be made to accomadate for the small time period, maybe 0/1/1/1/1/2/1 or something of that nature so the level 6 is available the last day or two. This is a very good idea, but the seeding will be a problem in my oppinion, but I guess if your able to beat the top 4 players the first month and then go against the 6-8 players your last games would prove your the best, but what about #2-10. Also this should be done every year. Because the #1 player will change, or should unless no one else improves. Anyway great idea Wakko keep em coming.

im making a page with a limited time signup and on the last day it will assign a random number to each person and make a graphic bracket tree which i will update so say 20 ppl signup each person will get a random number so whoever has 1 and 2 go against each other and 3 and 4 if 1 wins and 4 wins then they go against each other

Great idea Wakko...I would just like to state that this brainchild idea came from me who wanted Wakko and Wildstar to put up or shut up with each other. I'd like to compete, can I get a 12 seed though...there's always atleast one 5v12 upset in a bracket...and quite frankly I wanna be that guy!

I know Xide is always up for a death match, he doesnt care about his "rep", i bet Res is the same, and I have never seen prestone back down from a challenge. You guys need to talk to them directly though because I doubt they check here often and would need a little pushing. But before you do, you need to get it setup, find a server, and most of the "big names" are over at twgs.org. You will get the majority of people to sign up if you bring it there after you've got a server, settings, etc. I would maybe get with Xide or one of the others before you set the settings so they can help you set it up the way that they would be most likely to play.

I'd be happy to play, and to back up what Gravedigr said, I think most of the other "elites" would be too. The only tricky bit will be trying to arrange the game in such a way that it would be fair on both players and that it won't clash with any tournaments that are running (i.e. Big Game).

I actually think that there are very few players that would enter this sort of tournament for the bragging rights - most would just want a fun challenge. You guys might want to talk to Silver Dragon, I believe he and Liquid Chaos are setting up something similar right now. Sort of a challenge ladder/bracket system or something. I don't know the details.
