Those numbers are so close to the mark, that you won't make any more money by trying to get it down to the credit. Since you will be robbing back every credit you put into the port, the real money is made when you sell the free equipment a good buy port. All you care about is that after you use 131 turns buying down the eq, that there is between 3.3 and 6.5 MCr on the port. It's easier if you find a port that sells high, so you don't have to waste turns buying organics or fuel to get it to the 3.3 mark.
It's more cost effective in the long run to find and upgrade a port that sells high, so you can get the 3.3+ million on it by ONLY buying EQ, than it is to use any old port and then get stuck buying organics or fuel to do the final topping off. If you have 1000 turns, you should be able to get 7 Megga-robs in per day per red. At the right buy ports, that translates to just over 34 million creds.
