I just installed a warp pad on my planet with a range of one hop. To keep things simple, lets say I have a range of 10 hops. Do I need to have a fig in the sector to warp there? ANd if not, would stop me from warping to SD or Terra? Thanks in advance

To my knowledge using the planet transported is just like transwarp, you have to have a fig in the sector you want to goto. IF you need to get to SD or Terra you have to be commished to do so.

yep, just like regular twarp except it uses ore from the planet. you need a fig unless of course the sector is devoid of all matter(no enemy figs, ports, planets, mines, limps, etc.) or your commissioned and want to go to fed space. And it only uses 1 turn no matter what ship your in! great for colonizing and other turn saving maneuvers.

All the above AND it uses one turn, not what your ship normally uses...
