So...I finally buy a cloaking device but I can't seem how to activate the Darn thing...

when you exit out of the game it will ask you if you want to engage cloking device....But beware there is a small chance of the cloak failing....It depends on what the sysop has configured usually 3% i think

I believe, correct me if im wrong Kemp, that cloak fails will only occur at extern.....? There was many discussions over this, but I'm not sure if I ever found out for sure when it happened.

It can fail when it is set or at extern. There is a very easy way to test this. In TWGS, set the cloak fail rate to 100% and cloak. Then log in and read your messages.

As of revision .41, cloaks always engage successfully and only fail at extern.

Ack, ok, so then its NOT either/or. This really is important, I think a lot of current players think it happens when you exit, i.e. Earth's misinformation to me, which I have long beleived was not the case. If anyone knew, I knew it would be Kemper. Hopefully your right. .
