It seems to me that a part of winning the game is to gather up players in a Corp and tight-knitt their actions together to share resources.

But I don't know how to recruit people, or get to join a Corp except my own. Only on one server was I invited to join a Corp, and it had been working out until the server went down. Yes it was The Boss TWGS.

I am on Superheros TWGS, Game A, and hardly anyone seems to be playing. I tried to get a friend to play and join my corp, but he logged on once, and never got back on yet. Didn't even join my Corp.

I joned Alien Base Game A, and Corp #3 seems to be dominating that game in a few short days. I can't seem to ally up with anyone. I'm holding my own, and they got the stardock blocked off and are using a Script to Transwarp in an attack anyone that enters their controlled sectors near the Stardock. I've seen other traders lose their ships, and I warped out as soon as I was attacked so I wouldn't lose mine. No way can one person compete with 5 or 6 others on a Corp.

So how do you get others to join your corp or get invited to join theirs?

Best time to corp up with someone is as soon as the game starts, they will be more willing to join forces when they dont have anyone else on their team, especially when there are several corps that are already established and trying to take over. By the way...The Boss TWGS will reopen hopefully tomorrow, I will know for sure later today and will post it.

Just keep playing and if you are good people will notice you and ask you to join. Or look for other solo players. There are others out there like you who would rather play with a team then solo.

I played for a long time solo, and actually the way I met the guys I corp with now is in a game where we were enemies. We talked a lot of smack etc and did not get along at all, but we respected each other's abilities and started talking and playing together more often and the rest is history. :)

And yet you still suck heh.JK.Best way to get in a corp is to destroy them in another game, then they see you can play.Or get lucky and get in a corp that just happens to be looking for someone that game.
Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I guess I just play the best I can, and see if other Solo players want to join forces. I've done pretty good so far, I can farm planets very good, and pair port trade very well. My evil game needs some work, as I mostly play a good alignment and get an ISS unless I can't help it.

So far in Alien Base, I found a time when Corp #3 doesn't play, and can clear out their fighters near the Stardock. Now Corp #4 is gaining on them. I'm ranked 11 out of 34, only blew up a few Ferrengi which made me red.

The Boss is coming back, I was a member of a corp there, if it reBangs I hope they take me back in. I farmed a good number of planets there.

Superhero doesn't look like many people are actively playing it. So it is a good game to hone in my skills with. I own over 1/5th of the figs in that Universe, not sure how many are Alien figs or Player figs.

I joined that game 2 seconds after you(I was corp #2)and was still considering your offer,..(we were both doing pretty good by ourselves...I thought)when corp #3 started with that and destroyed my ship...I was gone.

I just got Beam to join my corp, he lost a Flagship to Corp #3. Take your time on the offer, think it over. If we can't team up, at least we can be allies with a common enemy and share information on them. Like find their home planet and mine the heck out of the sectors leading to it. :)

There used to be a trick I pulled on 1.X with Ferrengi. I would get a Merf, lay down 1 fighter per sector leading to the enemy base, use full sheilds, and then attack a powerfull Ferrengi with all my remaining fighters. Then he would follow me into the sectors leading to the enemy base, eating my shields along the way. Then I warp into their base sector and get zapped by mines and quasar cannons, but so does the Ferrengi. Along the way he leaves 100 to 1000 Ferrengi fighters for every 1 of mine he destroys. Plus he just helped me moth their Quasars. Usually most of their fighters are on the base planet, and if they weren't parked there, they would have a hard time getting in past the Ferrengi fighters. Plus the sector fighters would be gone, replaced by Ferrengi fighters, so they couldn't t-warp in anymore. I bet that trick don't work anymore. I bet the Ferrengi attacks aren't based on how many fighters you have, with 0 fighters a lot of times he hit me for 0 to 5 damage.

But there are other tricks I can try, like maxing out my Flagship fighters, playing when they are on, and trying to get to the Stardock and then podding them after they t-warp in. I'm betting they are using a script for the t-warp attack which uses as little fighters as possible to capture the ship. Would give me time to launch a counter-attack on them.

If you join, I have extra ships you can borrow. I've podded about 4 Ferrengi so far, which made me evil. I'm hoping to capture a really good alien ship someday. I am farming some planets too. I am surviving, which is what I do best. If I didn't buy a lot of fighters, they would have captured my ship too.

Playing solo is difficult in a team game..especially if the corp limit is 5. But it does have one benefit. You don't have to worry about whether a teammate is gonna show up or not cuz ya don't have any LOL. And if you wanna quit, go ahead. There are no teammates to let down.

Playing solo, Red is the way to go. Cash like hell then take everyone's planets before they get too advanced. Just don't do too much too quick or you will be left defenseless yourself.
