My first guess is that maybe you were in a game where photons couldn't be launched from FedSpace, but it seems the game should have prevented you from launching it to begin with.

My second guess is that you got lagged and failed to enter within the allowed duration. I know from experience that the message telling you the wave duration has expired can come VERY late sometimes, so perhaps you lagged a bit, missed the safety zone, and then the battle messages displayed before the Duration message got a chance to print.

Whatever happened to ya though, that sucks. :\

Lag shouldn't have had any effect, since you sent all of the commands in the same macro. I would bet it has something to do with the time sync bug.

I dont think so, I spoke to kemper about this and that was my first thought too. had it been just the planet then I might say yes, But the offensive figters wouldnt be affected by the time bug (ie they wouldnt update a timestamp) so that means that something else went wrong.. If it is a timestamp issue then that would mean that the other player dropped those offensive figs right when the other person shot the photon, this seems a bit unlikely. I say it's just one of those twgs "glitches" or even possibly game corruption?.. But I aint see nothing like it before so got no clue

Only other thing I can think of, is max commands / second.

Ionno though, I've never seen that before...

Not my problem, any Underpants Gnome that comes near me gets blasted. :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underpants_Gnomes

quote:
In the South Park episode entitled Gnomes (Underpants Gnomes), The Underpants Gnomes are a community of underground gnomes who collect underpants.

The Underpants Gnomes have a three-step business plan, consisting of:

1. Steal underpants
2. ???
3. Profit!

Where none of the gnomes actually knows what the second step is, and all of them assume someone else within the organization does.

They must have switched business plans:

1. Steal ptorp effects

2. ?

3. Profit!
