some more defense questions: 1) at what ratio (ie. 1.5:1) do corporate fighters defend at if left in a sector with a planet?; 2) what ratio do they defend at when left at the citidel on the planet?; 3) are the ratios in questions 1 and 2 different when the fighters are set to offensive mode; 4) will anything (ie. your planet, another ship, the ship's fighters) defend an unmanned ship left in a sector with one of your own planets? tia... |

Figs defend at 1:1 in space. on a citadel, if they are offensive, they attack at 2:1 on a citadel, if they are defensive, they attack at 3:1 Unmanned ships defend at 1/2 their defensive value. Tholians (or any ship with the defensive bonus) only get the bonus when they are manned. There is nothing I can think of that will defend an unmanned ship other than q-cannon and sector figs. In a nutshell, if you leave an unmanned ship over your planet, it's meat. See http://www.tw-cabal.com/formulas.html for the answers to your questions. See entering a hostile sector and landing on a hostile planet. |

actually, unmanned tholians over a corporate planet still get the tholian bonus. in the event that you find a tholian over a corp planet that is unmanned, just cap and claim the corp planet before attacking the unmanned ship. |
