I'm attempting to run world trade using twx. I'm AT the command line as usual, like I normally run it. However, it keeps terminating saying that I must be at the command line. I ran a CIM and now it's showing cim data, then terminating. Anyone know what's up?
(for brevity sake I edited the cim data in this capture and the file names.

yea its an easy mistake not to exit from the command prompt after cimming. I have done it before.

I know you see none, but you'll just have to take my word for it I was att the command prompt, but whenever I clicked "start" script the command line disappeared, then when the script started to run, it said "must be at command line.

then the copy/paste would have the options for the worldtrade on it, yours shows you trying to start it up during CIM. if it messed up AFTER you hit start, we should've seen this:
Command [TL=00:00:00]:[6935] (?=Help)? :
Loading script: scripts\2_worldtrade.cts
SERVER: Welcome to TWX Proxy v2!
Main>
Command [TL=00:00:00]:[6935] (?=Help)? :
/-------TWX-PROXY-SCRIPT-PACK-2-------\
Version 2.00
World Trade
For script information please refer to the
Pack2 Documentation. Remember that you can
always use the help option (+) to get
information on any script feature.
Read the warnings about this script before
using it!
World Trade Settings:
? - Command list
+ - Help on command
Q - Terminate script
G - GO!
M - Navigation Settings
P - PPT Settings
but we didnt, as we have to assume you started while in CIM

Yah, your TWX database is corrupt. I don't know how it happens, but it happens from time to time. I delete the database, create a new one, and all is good. I have it happen the most when I played in Zulu on alienbase.

because there was no command line to copy and paste, it disappears the minute you start the script vanishes goes away, like it was never there

SGO, ignore Slim and listen to Draconis. It sounds like you're having the same problem I did with TWX spitting garbage back at you when you try to load a script. Actually your problem exactly mirrors an error I got once, when I tried to load a script and I got a bunch of old CIM port report data spat back at me (and yes I was at the command prompt and not in CIM mode). Another time it was a bunch of old keypresses from the log that was spat back at me. See my post here: http://www.eisonline.com/twforum/topic. ... C_ID=17420
Deleting the TWX database and creating a new one should clear the problem. It worked for me and now my scripts load fine.

Last I heard SGO
this is a TWGS consiracy
I heard it doesn't like you- and to that effect it was going to hide prompts forever
until you conceded that you were wrong and the prompt was there...
LOL j/k!

I know I'm dropping into this topic a bit late, but I think SGO is talking about the TWX command line (of course, not to be confused with the TW command line) [:D]

Actually, SGO is correct. I just had same thing happen and here is my take for what it is worth.
The Worltrade script (Depending on which one you use naturally, I used 2_WorldTrade.ts that comes with TWX) does not seem to work with games running 3.12 I acts like he described above, and will actually change from the command prompt to computer and/or citadel when you load it. So SGO see what version of TWGS is running, if it is 3.12, that script will not work in that game until fixed.

Isn't the one to use 2_WorldTrade.cts?
