I don't think Ferrengi "claim" anything. They just start with it. And you can't claim space. |

Not to mention its simply not a good idea to put any additional advertising about where your base is. Also, the Ferrengi will still continue to drain your cannons and figs...no point ever trying to use their space at all. |

Try this sometime.... Invade Ferrengal and then warp it out. Next make a planet where Ferrengal and name it whatever you want, I like to use "Ferrengal" or "New Ferrengal". Put enough colos and prod to upp it to L1 ONLY. Now in some versions (not sure which ones) the Ferrengi will claim that planet and start dumping figs on it and maby cash. Just check back every once in a while and since the planet is only L1 you can get free figs and maby some cash.... [:D] Have gotten several 100K figs and credz from them. It's worked in "Alien Trader Homeworld" sector also....[;)] |

I could be wrong, usually am heh, but I dont see it as a bug. and maybe not intended action, but just what aliens do build up in there space. Fig Farming has been going on for years. was a close guarded secret for a while. by those that figured it out. Was more advantageous before gold settings where high fig production planets were availble. |

If you leave an L1 planet in the sector where Ferrengal was, don't the Ferrengi's upgrade the citadel on that planet? |
