We just started playing at the beginning of a vanilla game. It's a 5000 sector, 500 turn game and we all started with a whopping 300 credits. Two days later we've got folks flying in an ISS! What approach would you have taken to do this? I know it possible to make 500k in two days, but wouldn't it take a large amount of luch to get your alignment that high while keeping the credits? |

Is entirely possible to get an ISS and a commish in that amount of turns. I have a couple of questions. Are there any aliens or ferrengi in the game? If so was the game aged before being opened? Also are there any reds in the game? Did this player kill a red? If he did he may have got the money he posted back in the reward. I'm sure someone can give you a lot better estimate of the cash that could be earned. The above mentioned items are just some of the many ways to get alignment changes. |

just to throw a thought out there... one can gain experience by posting rewards and what not... so a blue has the chance of doing this somewhat quickly... as far as the cash, its tight, but very possible... so... just my two cents worth... Sep |

ok DF. if he had a red on his corp he can easily be in an ISS. even solo he could be in an ISS, just not close to maxed. Sep... heh, you do NOT gain experience from posting rewards, i assume you meant alignment. as to how that helps a blue cash i am lost as to the point you were trying to make... DF. the questions that SHOULD have been asked to you, is what are YOU doing with your turns? Slim |

I tested this and it can be done. I used a 1000 turn game. used straight worldtrade script in swath, after 500 turns I had over 500k in credits, almost 800k. |

In 1000 turns, it really isn't that hard to make enough money for an ISS, even in stock ships, assuming the port density is relatively high. |

Exremely easy to do, sounds like ya need to learn the finer points of turns and resource management. |
