Ok, seems to be a weak spot in my game. Gridding after lvl 4 planets and a bunch of traders sitting on drop scripts. You have your bases built and ready but nobody will move. The game becomes a Snipe Quest and whose the most patient and whos gutsy. Question: You have a 30 to 50 percent grid. What is the best grid script and how does one obtain same? |

The scripts on grimeys are getting dropped pretty easy. Must be a private verses public script issue |

Well, it all depends on how you have them configured to run. Also, because they are public scripts, people know how they work and can anticipate them. I was in a game where someone was gridding, and I had a hard time pdropping him. Then I figured out he was going sector to sector in ascending order. All I had to do was park in the next sector he would be heading to, and then poof! IG holds him, and it is shipcap time! |

The other thing that I would recommend is to use pgridding. It makes it harder to get pdropped as you can also have a corpie there to rescue you. If done correctly, pgridding will drastically reduce the drops and the photons. |

If a grid script is good, then it should never be direct pdropped. Adjacent ptorp or drop maybe, but even with that there are ways to try (key word) to avoid that. Oso brought up a key in catching a lot of gridders in that they do not change their grid pattern/method. A little work and you can figure these out and wait on them. |
