I was able to set up the Black Market edit on Silverwings twgs, game C.
The market is way out in front by about 4 mill. figs, and producing 1 mill. fuel and 500k equip.
The bubble ports come online tonight and with 125 mill. creds i will upgrade most if not all.
One red player, tried to make a run at the Market, but it's gona be Darn difficult to take it down.
That player won't use the market... and ended up overpaying for figs at the dock.
I have ships, figs, planets plus most everything for sale or rent.
Start the game by working for the market, then establish yourself when ready.
The Black Market is "Non Combative".
The Black Market trades with all players in the game.
The business dealings of the Market will influence the game, creating an element of equality amoung traders.
Of course the Market will defend itself, and will support war thru sales.
The Black Market would buy intel, from other corps.
Let your imaginations run with this.... try to restrain, aggressive criticism... be constructive in comment.

AND... come over to, port 23... and try The Black Market game.
I am there most of the time, but, if not... drop me a line.
One last bit of business.... I need an "ACE" on the Hive corp... A known "ACE ARTIST" (we spoke before traders)

silverwings C, sports 10k turns. in 30k sectors.
i think 10:1 ratio would be better... 3k turns in 30k sectors.
Corp. members = 3
- the large number of sectors, fewer turns and influence of the Market... will create a longer game.
- StarDock blockades would be a thing of the past.
- newb's would work for the Black Market to gain knowledge and startup cash.
- sysop might have to configure the Black Market manually... placing it in suitable existing edits.
- sysop would control size, equity, assets, location.... of the Black Market, so variations are available, to keep it fresh.

i would like suggestions from traders and sysop's.

ps: with reasonable lead time (as i had in silverwings C) anyone can create a Black Market game.
work out the math for suitable profit... may need a whole new line of scripts.

this game the Hive runs the Black Market... next game, a different corp will run the Market.
get in the game ... get a feel for it
game play from a traders standpoint does not change... build and fight.
the real kick will be running the Market
