I take the input, but my first language is french, so I'm not sure of all your comment.

My comment of 30% ... was base on my friend that play on the server. Unfortunaly, i wasn't able to play on it base on the fact that I got my 2 last parties for the holiday. Anyways, some ideas from Scrat will be put in my next Bang.

If you can define me the alien software bug, i would like to understand your comment, because i think I understand but i'm not fully sure that I'm right in my understanding.

For the level 0 and level 1 trophy planets in alien space, i read since 2 days about that bug... the alien get the planet without a real fight, am I right ?
like a bug or an advantage that the software of Tw2002 give to the aliens...

Alien's fill planets to max with product under certain conditions. Also the aliens spawn die spawn die over and over mothing the planet out of fuel in hours. read the logs.

Scrat is not playing. Caretaker and I are playing so if you are going to take someones advice perhaps it should be from the players that took enough interest in your new server to help.

Level 0 or 1 trophy planets in alien space are worthless.
Time limits will keep most players away.

True Alien planets cannot be blown up.

land on planet 2 "Death Star" and see.
Unfortunately the aliens will not upgrade the cit so Death Star will be level 2 or 3 forever.


Overloading the planets with colos ruins there value.
no one will want them to collect and farm.

Actually I am/was playing as Nick Nebula so I did bother to take the time and actually check the game out. I used both my pods the first day and then ran ZTM. I had to work yesterday and didn't get a chance to play.

I suggested reducing turns since I was able to recover from losing 2 ships and get back into a million credit ship and still have 500 turns left. With 1 and 2 TPW ships the game moves pretty fast with 2000 turns per day.

I think the game should have maybe 50 trophy planets , less aliens and less cols per planet.

And as for turns .. I think no turn banking and 1k turns is enough , since cashing and colonizing isn't needed in this edit.

Plus if all trophy planets were level 4 or better , then there would be no need to blow up the junk ones that take days to a week to get up to mobile.

And lets forget about the truce issue and no grid thing .. they lead to a game called Trade Hugs , and I'm not sure if that's the game you want to play , or sit in for weeks.

I think its better to draw players to a server , not chase them off with bs setting and code of conduct .. like no mix corps , I'de suggest you may want to figure some way to enforce that into the mechanics of the game. As a sysop myself .. I'll tell you .. you can't.
My corpy became red by killing an alien and hasn't bothered to get back to blue ... I went blue to col and found it not necessary due to the tweaked edit.

The advantage is that I remain fed safe at extern.

The ship names are word wrapping on a CLV....
Imperial -Class should be a manufacturers name not a ship name for example

The manufacturer name is not the ship type name...
So an imperial class Star Destroyer is the the ship type and not the manufacturer.. in Star Wars, the manufacturer of that ship is
Kuat Drive yards... we did a good search for those information.

Thank you for hosting the game , we all have enjoyed the game.
And as we have already mentioned , things to change on the next bang.

I think the game is over , Dock has been blown and with Radiation lifetime of 14 days
it will be awhile before its back.

Not that it bothers us , we have extra ships setup already. lol

If you want to rebang , is fine by me ... maybe others would like another stab at your game ..
plus it will give you another chance at editing your setup script to set things better.

just my 2¢
