Unread post public scripts, twx & twx development
(x-post from hyperspace forum)

It's been a while, and I no longer access to any of my old TW stuff. I have a few questions -

Public Scripts :
- where are most public scripts hosted? I'm guessing grimy, in which case i have a follow up
- I tried registering, and haven't received my confirmation email from grimy. I'm about to shoot ram an email at his grimytrader account - does anyone know if he checks it regularly (or at all)?

TWX :
- what is the deal with twx builds? there's 2.03 (and source) hosted at the old twx proxy site. I see 2.04, modified by EP, on grimytrader, and I've now seen references to 2.05 on the EIS forums
- where is the most recent TWX build hosted?

TWX development :
- what platform / IDE version are people using to build TWX these days? I've seen EP's page where he recommends Turbo Delphi Explorer & Win XP, but that seems a bit outdated. Is there a more current workflow & dev environment? Is anyone building on XE7?

Check out the Scripts & Helpers forum, look for Links from Helix. I think he has the largest collection of TWXProxy scripts now.

I believe TWX Proxy 2.05 works on both Win7 and Win8.

M()MBot 3.1035 - Look for Toyman's release, it works on BOTH v1 and v2 TWGS.

Welcome back!

Can't get a login to Grimy, unless you already have one.

Try sending him a PM here, he might be still using the email addr that he gave when he joined EIS.

This link appears to still work:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/673 ... p_v102.zip

It's a ZIP file Helix put together (his Dropbox iirc), which contains everything a player needs --and more.

Also keep in mind that most of the most common scripts you'll need to be running to compete are incorporated in Mombot and Z-Bot (and far superior to anything you'll find in the old script packs).

E.g., wsst, worldtrade, colonizing (although the standalone proecolonizer is the best of all of them for that), and dozens of other scripts are available as quick commands when either Mombot or Z-Bot is running.
