The ferrengi in my game auto-attack you, but they don't have the whole spiel where they stop you and demand your cargo and such. Is that a mod you need to install? How do I get them to do that?

Can I make speech scripts like that for other aliens too?

How do you get mods like these to install on TWGS?

I would like wandering planets in mine if possible.

Might be that you attacked a Ferr instead of giving them stuff. Do that once and they will hound you, the "ferrengi grudge". Gameop configurable? don't know.

My understanding is and I could be wrong is that all the external mods where disabled when the game was folded into the TWGS. Not sure when it happend I was not around the game then but at some point they became obsolete. Now there is the possibility of some of what your talking about being able to be done again in future if Botlink is ever completed. But delvopment of that is on hold since JP went AWOL again.

As far as the Aliens go, alot of things can be changed in the game itself to make them more/less aggressive and how react with players. I'm not sure you can get the message back like you used to see in the old days. I have not seen that in a long time.

I've seen it recently, just trying to remember if it was a classic Ferrengi or a Gold Ferrengi. You may have to be in a much weaker ship too, I forget.

But yeah, I know what you're talking about, it's pretty cool.

Alright thanks! I guess what I see in the TWGS editor is all I get. It's a shame that botlink never got finished. The old BBS tradewars had a lot of nice mods.

I have been writting some of those mods to work in TWGS v2
Although I did write them for BotLink as well , till that is released
These twx proxy scripts will have to do.

Most all of what I have done for SysOps is available through
Zooms Team Speak server or some of the earlier versions
may be found on this site or Grimmie Trader site.
