When trying to telnet to twgs.classictw.com on any port it's returning a server full error message. |

The IP you need to set is called localhost, or numerically it's 127.0.0.1. The port is whatever port you assigned it in game config. FYI most use 2002 rather than 23, the telnet port because there are bots sniffing port 23 to see what they can gain access to. (And no, not talking about Mombot, talking about hackers.) |

Nah, I was specifically speaking of EIS Beta server, that is the one that I believe is down. When I try to telnet to it (using the telnet twgs.classictw.com:23) it just keeps returning the error "server full". It was not doing this until today, it had been working just fine prior to today. The web address that used to be set up at the jumpgate (http://twgs.classictw.com/PlayTW.html) no longer functions either, the page doesn't load at all anymore, it tries to load and then eventually just returns the server cannot be reached error message. |

No, he is talking about the EIS server. Microbot hasn't been able to connect to it since 5/27. I think GameMaster hosts that for JP. His email is sysop@gamemastersrealm.com, or you can email jpritch@eisonline.com ...or you find an active game to play on here: http://www.microblaster.net/BigBang.aspx p.s. twgs.classictw.com is on port 23 when it is up. |

Thank you , the problem was that the VNC screen was sideways and the Sytem needed a reboot. When that was done , then it needed a password set by the system admin for windows 2003. J.P. was contacted and I had hoped did the folow-up message to the email you just provided. But I do not know if he had done it or not , I did not think to ask you for the SYSOP email , and send my messages about the system .. it had way too many nodes working for an empty server , and 3 players were locked online. My job has been to monitor the server and keep it running nicely , and it was till this happened. Vid Kid/CareTaker |

It has happened again, I have not been able to access this server for quite some time I did notice when I was able to play, several UNKNOWN's @ the menu prompt. You probably need to move port to 2002, restart ;p Thanks gashog |

ok , to anyone following this post .. twgs.classictw.com is on port 2002 now to eliminate the hackers from filling up the nodes. Hope this helps everyone. to Micro : please correct the links in your search robot to reflect the new port. Thanks Vid Kid/CareTaker |
