but as a long gone player, I have forgotten how to setup TWX and Zoc. How to connect to each other and how to setup both programs to operate in TW well.

TWX has the actual game IP address and port.
You set the "Listen for Port" in TWX.

Zoc connects to TWX on IP 127.1.1.0 (or localhost)
Zoc uses the Port number you created as the TWX "Listen for Port"

Too be fair, I was looking for a little more indepth. For instance, in Zoc, how do you set your Profile settings? What changes do you make to the Fkeys and Auto Macros? I had to d/l a new verion of Zoc and its not set very well for TW out of the box.

Alt S will bring up Profiles menu

Click "Options", then "Jump to" to get to Fkeys, Buttons and automacros.

Long time. Set scroll back to 999999 (What ever max is), I like to change the default colors as well but that is just me. I change the standard emulation to AnsiBBS and I turn off logging. Not much more I do out of the box on ZOC. Then set up my Host Directory to connect to 5 versions of TWX (each using a different port). Not that I normally play 5 games at once but 2-3 is not un heard of, especially when testing.
