Looks very interesting. Probably going to need a 500+ Quebit Quantum Computer to keep all that running in real time, especially on the Galactic level.

I doubt I'll be able to play it upon release, but I would like, if possible, to reserve LONESTAR as an user alias 8)

Congrats on your work.

I don't play many games of this nature myself these days.

Have to say It looks to pretty impressive to create a entire planet at scale completely covered in city. I'm sure the procedural planet creation program will still lead to repetition etc. Quite amazing scope..

No idea what the "point" of the game is; didn't look that far, just enjoyed the visuals.

I do remember playing a game this vast back in mid 80s, star flight, back in CGA mono graphic days. Game took an entire TWO 5.25 inch floppies to store, which was amazingly huge then. You could explore 100's of planets for resources etc, had a size and scope not matched to be honest in most games I've played.

The other thing I noted with this project is that the time line keeps bloating out??

I suspect with the amount of funding it continues to receive we won't be seeing JP any time soon...

The demo doesn't really give you any idea what actually game play is going to be like. Roberts wrote the wing commander series, but I couldn't get through the flight sims, and had to cheat so I could see the rest of the story line.

I am looking forward to this game, and hope that it succeeds. Anything to keep JP off of the streets!
