Well, I've reached a very sad moment, a turning point. The game I've worked on for 5 years, Star Citizen, will now carry on without me. I have no doubt that it will be a great success. I'm constantly amazed by the work my now former coworkers are doing there. And it has been an amazing 5 years having had the opportunity to work with so many talented people on such a revolutionary game.

My recent IFCS post is a summation of the work I did on this game over the last 5 years. If you're interested in seeing what I was able to accomplish, please take a look.

For those who are interested, keep an eye out and I will announce what I will be doing next. Most likely a game project, probably something in the indie realm. But I'm weighing a lot of options.

o7 Star Citizens!

I recently released a detailed description of the flight control system I've been developing for Star Citizen. For anyone interested in seeing what I've been doing the last few years, please check it out. And if you're too busy to read over a 21 page doc, Brian Mundy (Noobifier) was kind enough to make a video summarizing my work.

I watched the youtube video, fascinating work JP did with IFCS and Flight Physics. Makes me wonder if he's got a pilot's license, or just a very vivid imagination and a thirst for physics.

I wonder what his next project will be?

Hi All,

Waiting.......

Hope all is well!

I suspect that will be a very long wait.

I did have a brief chat with him on FB. He even showed me some 3D Voxel models he did of TradeWars ships. Although he would love to work on TradeWars, he didn't leave Star Citizen with gold lined pockets. Like most of us, he is going to have to get a new full time job to pay his bills :(

I got curious about Star Citizen. Pledged some money, got a ship, tried to play it.

Your gonna need a high end PC to even play this at even the lowest settings. 1060, 16gig ram, SSD and 4 core pc. Made me motion sick at about 15 fps if that.

This computer gets me 60 fps on PUBG which is considered reasonable resource heavy for a FPS.

Luckily I get max frames in TW still :)
