Not if LS is on your team! No hiding from his latest script. LOL

Which script is that?

Most of the scripts we used in the tourney were written by rider or by me.

LS did contribute to some but rider and I are creating most of what's killing people these days.

Rider and Shadow worked Over, Over Time preparing for ICE. Together, they brought a high level of energy and preparedness. It was an honour to be apart of their Team. Anything that I might have achieved, was in no way possible without Rider and Shadow’s hard work and dedication. There are too few players left with their skill set and skill level, I would strongly encourage anyone; new or experienced, to team-up with them to learn and develope as better players.

I hope that I am able to participate in the next tournament!

Thank you lone, that means a lot coming from you.

And to slightly amend my previous comments - I did not mean to insinuate that Lone was not an extremely valuable member of the team, because he was. He provided invaluable insight in our script development as well as direct contributions, and was one of the core authors of the things we built for the tourney. His knowledge of data mining was the reason we found the rest of the other corp after Hammer was dead. I consider it an honor to play with Lone, and I know the rest of the group feels the same.

I was reacting to Cruncher's post which implied that Lone was the primary/only contributor to our success, and that is very much not the case. Rider put in far more hours prior to this tourney than anyone else. I would have done so also, had work not intervened on several occasions, and I did put in the hours once the game started (and during the previous game when we also developed some of our tools.) Tracker was also a primary author of our scripts.

Cruncher, I've made the offer before, and it stands - bring whoever you want, and our group will play you any time you want. Pick the corp size, we'll match it. And we'll do it without Lone, if that makes you feel better (and given his schedule right now, I doubt he could play anyway.)

I think Cruncher was referring to this mapping script:

Data mining is a concept you must understand to winning big tournaments. There were just a hand full of people in this game that could do it and those were usually the team leaders. With a good ZTM and someone that is good at data mining you can narrow the sectors down the enemies would build in, and or cash in, to about 5%. Then with that narrowed down eprobing can find these locations in a very short time, especially if the other team isn't effective at gridding.

I've heard many players say that gridding is a waste of time. Still think gridding isn't important? Go against players like Eleqtrizity, Guardian, Rider, Vid Kid, Lone Star, The Butcher, Shadow, Blue Adept, or some of the other great veteran players of this game and see how long you last. Without effective gridding data miners will eat you alive.

Yeap, that one!

I have a M002 script, so the edit wasn't the issue. After seeing LS's mapping script on YouTube, there's absolutely NO defense for that one.

That was "Moo" game for about an hour.
We actually had tricks we never got to use, I honestly expected more resistance.
Lone chased everyone down like he was offended they even tried to hide. I learned quite a bit!

When's the next game?

Speaking for myself, and most likely also for rider :) We'd love something sooner. We can be ready a few weeks after the edit gets posted.

Nice to see everyone still getting along. lol
How have you been Cruncher? Good I hope. A member just sent me a link to the old Tradewars radio show of Soul interviewing me. It's been a long time, brought back some old memories. Have you done any death matches lately? laff. Miss those times.
Naw, I've always preferred cashing, and scouting. The last tournament we played we won too easily. Whenever you're ready to knock the dust off, let me know. Too busy with home improvement projects right now to play.
Actually I can't post on this forum because the Mods won't approve my posts. I send you a PM.
