I was just wondering if you have done any more work on your Dark Matter helper you are thinking about coming out with?

If not, are you seeing any time in the foreseeable future to work on it again? Or is the seeming lack of interest in the game kind of dampening your desire to work on it?

By the way, is the scripting still planned to be in Java? Just wondering because it will mean having to learn a programming language, one I have heard is not for beginners or the faint of heart.

If I remember right, I tried out your previous helper you discontinued work on, but since it meant needing to learn Java I didn't try to do much with it anyway as far as scripting went.

Anyway, best of luck on the project and getting time to work on it if you do decide to go forward with it, another new and interesting helper is always fun to play around with. :D

Haven't been to these forums in forever. I just happen to have dropped in today because I was thinking about TW again. Last time I worked on Dark Matter, I went down a rabbit hole with not being happy with the parser generator I'd written. I'm kind of bored now, so maybe I'll work on it again.

Part of my reason for doing the scripting in Java is that it's a highly in-demand language, and I hoped my helper would push people to learn something useful.

The dampening of my interest was a combination of being busy with my day job, having a new baby, and yes, seeming lack of interest in the game. Now I have two kiddos (latest is 2 months old) but things are starting to smooth out. Soon I might have two whole days a week to do whatever!

Glad to you hear you are still alive!

I never did find a lexical parser for C#, so I decided it wasn't really necessary :)

p.s. I still hate java...
