I have not had many problems with using this combination. The one problem that I do have that I cannot seem to fix properly is the connection Failure issue. If the server goes down on the client side or I drop internet connection I get a connection Failure message. I tried to put a trigger in that sees this but once it tries to re-connect I get a scroll on connection Failures and it basically keeps me from connecting. I have to shut down twx, re-start it and things work good from there. I have twx 2.05, I have adjusted the banner interval on the bot, even tried running an old school keep alive with #. What are the rest of you with Win 7 doing to get around this? I am actually contemplating loading up a VM of win XP just to play tw with. |

My suggestion is to bug the developer and get him to fix it. However, be warned I'm out of pocket for the next couple weeks, but can have a look after that. +EP+ |

I tried to mess with it myself but i was unable to find a solution. The issue TBH is mentioning is the #2 on my wish list. |

The problem with the old control was that it crashed twx when it was used in windows 7, so there can't be any going back, per say. You can always run xp mode with 2.04 H |

I was hoping EP might have had some additional leads to correct the issue. |

I have not been able to get 2.04 too work correctly in a XP vm running within Virtual PC on my Win7 computer. I still get the "Connection Failures" with 2.05 whether it is the Win7 or the XP VM. Is there any update on this? |

2.05 Works just fine in Win7, just have to remember to delete the TWXSetup.dat file from the root of the TWX folder. If your using the same folder and moving it back in forth to test between VM (WinXP) & Win7 that might be the cause of your trouble. |
