Is there a way to explore a large bubble, say 200+ sectors, and determine what ports are in it. I wanting to find out which xxB ports are in my bubble. I am currently just World Trading with front door avoided which is extremely inefficient I'm afraid. Plus I may just run in circles. Thanks |

My advice to you is, if you have a bubble Locked down, use Either-probes to probe the Dead Ends, find the sector with the ports you want from the probe results, blind warp to an empty sector (emphasis on EMPTY), as close as you can; drop a fighter under the port and continue. But , what you really should be doing (if you're playing Blue), is pop olanets under 'Good' ports and utilize Colonisgs to create product that you can Planet-Negotiate with (…unless planets come with free product in them; in which case you should create planets and detonate them after selling whatever they contain. In any case once you've determined a 'Good' Port, you should slowly upgrade it, so that you can sell more product to it each time --thereby Saving turns. This is before you get a mobile planet. I'm sure that you will be able to figure out how to be efficient at that point. Just sticking my head in. Hello to anyone left, who remembers me |

Funny you should reply. I was just trying to figure out if there was a different version of Pop Goes the World than 1.0 about 10 minutes ago. The one I am using isn't displaying the planet names correctly in the menu where you pick which class you want to pop. It still works. Just curious if I had the last version. Yes that is my ultimate goal. Finding the good xxb ports in my bubble and selling them product. Didn't think of using probes. I don't utilize them enough. I will probe it out then visit the ports. Thanks for the reply, Zoom |

It was so simple. Just had to explore list of sectors in my bubble using a sector list gridder then put the list into Zed's Sector List Generator and ,pwwwtt , out pops a list however you want it. Not very turn efficient like I wanted but effective. |

I put a script-pack on Grimy Traders website that should contain the latest version that I've created. I think someone here has tweaked it and released a version that supports the newer TradeWrs Server (which may by related to the problem you experienced. Cruncher wrote: ...Where have you been? I don't have the video card for Eve, I got too frustrated just setting up a character. I'm using computers too much, my lower back is killing me! |

Hey Micro! ...getting that itch again.. heh Assaulter: shoot me your email via PM, and I'll download and send you the script pack (along with whatever else you want). Or I'm sure someone else here can do same. As a matter of fact you may be able to find some scripts here: http://www.tw2002.info/ ....Helix's site http://www.navhaz.com/ ....Singularity's site |
