This might be of some help: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=34157

And from my understanding you can use Wine to run Windows software:

https://www.winehq.org/download/

Also one Linux helper is Kokua: http://linux.soft112.net/kokua-06-422aafa4.html

I used to run SWATH in WINE. I ran into some weird bugs that Stein couldn't reproduce when running on real Windows.

Kokua inspired me to write another Java helper called Weapon M, but I don't promote it because even though it basically works, it never lived up to my expectations and it never attracted the community of script writers that would make it viable. I'm going to rewrite it whenever I leave my current job.

I did a little digging today... It seems that cross-platform development is a complete nightmare at the moment. I tried to create a project in mono, and I can't even get a blank app to compile.

Good to see you're still around. Playing in the tourney? :)

Are you still working on your Dark Matter revision?

I don't know, would it be possible to instead implement TWX Proxy as a plugin and then include a simple TWX Proxy editor to work on scripts while gaming live, with an auto-compile (CTS) feature? Perhaps work with EP to integrate his TWX Proxy editor into it.

I don't think many will be interested in learning a new scripting language, unless you could just copy the exact syntax of TWX Proxy into your Weapon M/Dark Matter project (as a final alternative.)

I'm looking forward to the day when I have spare cycles to work on it again. (And a million other things...) Whenever my current work project is deployed, I'm going to see about going part time.
