A lightweight (and should be a bulletproof) subroutine to deny spoof attempts using a Boolean variable that is intended to be wrapped around your triggered routine; this version only works with ANSI set to on.

ETA:

* I will be updating this to account for mail, beacons, ship names, planet names, port names and log announcements (I am not sure if it will be feasible to also include player names?)

Just a small update, there is an apparent issue with ANSI variations so I have removed the questionable escape codes, just retaining the constant portion.
