Looking for advice on how to get Twxproxy running on Linux. A few players have mentioned using "wine" emulator before; how hard is that to set up and what limitations are there? Trying to wean off windoze but still want to play tw.

Also where is the "official" download site for Twxproxy nowdays; been rather out of the loop lately.

Cheers

EP has been maintaining TWX, posting occasional updates for it in this forum, newest version is here:

download/file.php?id=1085

I don't know enough about Wine to detail anything, just that others say it can be used, though also has certain issues/limitations?

I used this one for years, there were some issues with some of the newer ones so I just stuck with this one. Wine is simple to setup, if the person doesn't know how they probably need to go back to windows

Now in all fairness everyone has to learn somewhere.

Well, at least he was laughing...

Personally... I can't help with Linux, because I don't know much about it... Except the little playing I have done on my Raspberry Pi :)
