Not directly scripting related but I have a very odd issue here.

I normally don't use anything outside of mom-bot so I don't bring up the load script menu much (Most things I use are hot keyed). I went load a script yesterday and when I navigated to a script directory that had a .ts file in there TWX crashed. Did that 3-4 times. Then I went into Windows explorer and navigated to multiple directories with .ts files in it and Windows explorer would crash (Actually blacking out my desktop and reloading). I happen to have a .ts file on my desktop and when I single click on the file, the same things happens.

Thought maybe my file extension was trying to open / preview something funny so un-installed and re-installed context, then set the program and tried again. No luck. Turned of my malware, and AV protection and tried that. No luck. Completed 4 scans using different programs and no problems found. Tried a re-boot, upgraded the video card, and also completed a few other suggestions for explorer crashing.

I can't even edit any of my .ts files right now on this computer. I copied the directory over to another computer and no issues there (Windows 7 instead of Windows 10). Curious if anyone else has experienced anything like this?

And the crash is not happening with any other files types that I can see. Even the .CTS files are fine.

No, that's pretty bizarre. I'm also on Win10 and I'm not seeing any of that weirdness. What app is/was associated with the .ts extension?

I was on windows 10 but down graded back to 7 because of a lot of weird issues with twx and swath. scripts/bots crashing for no reason swath not saving data and some other stuff. but i know of people who run it on 10 with no problems... so IDK..

The .ts extension can also go to movie types.
The extension is installed for VLC Movie and Music player.
Unless you uncheck the .ts on install (custom).

Hope that helps.

I originally had it associated to Context Editor. I think it was a recent Windows update that is causing the issue (Note I am a Beta Tester).

There was no issue 2-3 months ago when I last edited a script. I keep checking for updates and hoping a fix comes around. For now migrated all scripts over to a Win 7 VM.

Well whatever it was it is fixed not. I just finished completing a big Windows 10 update and no longer having the issue.

My issue was Win10/Swath leaving TWX Proxy idoling was causing issues. So I just went back to use Zoc while idling and only opened Swath when I was at the keys. No more issues.

I was doing the insider preview builds too, until remote desktop started crashing continuously. Went back to 1701 and haven't had any problems.
