Post subject:  I just realized something about QuickTexts
The QuickText string parameter does NOT have to begin with a Tilde (~) character. You could do 'addQuickText "Dog" "Cat"' and from then on, Echo "Dog" would actually echo "Cat" to all clients. Be careful though as these strings are global in nature and remain in effect even after your script ends. QuickTexts effect strings sent from any running scripts, TWX System/Menus/etc.. and even TWGS/TradeWars game output too. This is kind of an unintended side effect, but if you want "Captain Zyrain" to be "Admiral Zyrain", then you can do it with a QuickText.

You know how you hate those Dark Blue ship numbers you can't read?

addquicktext "1;34m" "1;32m"

... could be dangerous though, it would change all Blue to Green everywhere :/

I'm not the only one putting the ship number in the name now. We're all getting older. heh

Can you believe that unreadable color is the "Bright" version of blue. I always thought it was "Dark" blue. I can't read the Lime Green... better make it Yellow:

So if we get all carried away with customizing our colors and then realize that we've screwed something up and can't read anything, is there a command to restore defaults?

Thinking you might make some changes at the beginning of a script and then want to undo all that at the end with one simple command. Otherwise, you have to repeat the opposite of all those changes, probably screw that up too.

# Create a QuickText
addQuickText "~Z" "^[0;31;44m"

# Remove a specific QuickText
clearQuickText "~Z"

# Remove all existing texts
clearQuickText
