I need a copy of the absolutely last stable version of TWXProxy 2.5 series, the last version maintained by EP before Micro took up the torch on development of TWXProxy. I have the copy EP linked to in one of his posts and said that was the latest version, the post was in like 2014 or 2015. So, hopefully EP will respond here to confirm it, since he would know

Hey amigo, sorry for the slow response. Yes, the last version I published was 2.5.73. Wow, that was over 10 years ago. Hope it is still holding up, for anyone still relying on it. Happy Haggling, +EP+ |

And I am sure that there are some people still using it, especially new players or old players just coming back who don't know about Micro taking up the development. One of the links to his newest version which Star Killer so helpfully posted in the reply after yours. It doesn't seem like that long ago until you start adding up the years does it? You took the original code and the idea Xide produced, after he had to move on in life, and turned it into a real workhorse. Thanks for that! And kudos to Xide for coming up with the whole thing, it was a great idea and great work he did with it! I always found your last version reliable when I used it, as long as I checked the forums here to make sure about something -- and didn't do something stupid when I was writing the script code. You know me from all the questions of mine you had to answer over the years here, doing something stupid in the script code is kind of my specialty ! lol And of course Kudos to Micro for taking up the development after you had to move on, and at least trying to keep a big part of the game alive. There haven't been any updates on the port to C++, have there, or the decompiler? I know that many scripters don't want us seeing the script, but often I try to run someone else's script, sometimes just wondering what it does. Gives an error code. Huh. I have no way to troubleshoot it. |
