For those interested in testing some of the new '+' features
on ports , class 0's and Citadel

I have setup a bot link script to manage these
The only real working one will be the Citadel Random Jumper.

You can get in Tedit to set yourself up , its only a test game anyways.

You will need a level 4 or better planet and lots of fuel.
the Citadel Random Jumper will use 1/2 your fuel for the random jump.
So take lots of cash with you and upgrade ports and buy fuel as you need.
Minimum fuel is 2k.

When I have finished this script it will be available for demo purposes.
For now give it a try.

I'll leave my machine on for several hours to give you
a chance to try this out.

Otherwise you will have to contact me via Team Speak 3
to ask me to turn it back on.

Do not take too long .. and when you are using Bot Link features ...
do not sit at prompt too long , make your selection or you may find
that you get booted or hung up. (Which requires you to log back in).

Ok , since no one has come in to check the demo
and I understand that Tedit might be a little difficult for some to understand and use

I have decided to write a short script to make a bunch of mobile planets and lay them through-out the universe in that game.

Just go find and claim one .. then go into Citadel and try the + function to
randomly move it.

Have some fun , I will keep this demo running for another 12 hrs.

I can do that , and maybe by then maybe J.P. can add hooks so that the Class0 Hardware and Bank can be put to use ..

I'd also like to see the planet rename feature working , but that may be a ways off for this test period.

After I shut down later today , I'll make it a point to fire it up on the weekend .

Ok , I have dropped about 50 planets all level 4 with 200k ore in each one .. no defenses set.

Just search for one and go into citadel <+> and try the new feature
<A> Random Jump

It is now running 24/7 on the classictw TWGS full time in game C

I checked it out. Pretty cool.

My first attempt got hung because the script apparently failed to respond to the input event and I was stuck waiting for it to release me from the command. We'll have to work on figuring out how to avoid the script missing an event like that. We need these controllers to be 100% consistent in how they respond to events. If there's something I can do on the Botlink side to make it more consistent, let me know.

If you get stuck like that, just drop carrier.

ok , there has been an update to this demo ..

now as you port you see :

<A> Attack this Port
<T> Trade at this Port
<+> More Commands
<Q> Quit, nevermind

Enter your choice [T] ? +

<A> See Port Credits (3)

Enter your command: A

and you will see how many credits are in the port even as a blue ;)

ok , in the computer prompt type ?
and see that there is an + option ...

you will need 50k credits and a bunch of ships ...
put password on them and test to make sure they are there ...

then when you do your computer +
Removing Passwords on All Ships ....

you can check and they are all gone ;)

BotLink testing continues ..

Now at Class 0/9's you can outfit any ship with TWarp 2
eprobes and a Holo scanner if you have the cash.

This can be a fun thing in games to use.

Start up a character and turn on your Twarp-ability (CUY)
then port at Sol , buy a Twarp2
Get Holos while your there .. and some eprobes
then stop at a port for gas and launch a probe and find a empty sector to blind warp to.

This is a heads up type of game.

All the other things are also still in this game like random jump planets
and so much more .. test away ..

to test this botlink demo this weekend.

The new features are :

From Citadel Prompt
A) Random Jump Planet
B) Rename Planet <- not working yet.

From Port Prompt
A) See Port Credits

From class0 Prompt
A) Buy Holo Scanners
B) Buy TransWarp 2
C) Buy a Five Eprobes
D) Remove PassWords from All Your Ships

Plus I have given everyone 1 million creds to start with
so they can get into testing right off.

Note : don't for get to turn on your Twarp (CUYqq)

yes , that is a twx script run from the admin port.
but has to interface with the botlink set of commands.
