Old world style. 5000 sectors, 1500 turns. Speeds turned way down. Game mimmicks 56k conx with a 500 ms delay built in across the board.
This is a nearly stock game with a few enhancements like port regen turned up slightly. Lot and lots of bubbles to build in.
This is a NO GRIDDING game. Leaving your figs in every sector will only cost you money, We are sweeping to remove them. Repeated offenses will get you thrown out of the game....

Your high latency defeats the "single digit" pings.
This is slower than playing on Vid's server in Guam.

That's actually the point. I wanted one game where I could just go in, putter around, manually play and just think about each step, like the old days.
I did reduce the latency to 150ms as you requested so it does move better but I'm leaving the 56k setup in place as well as the delays I added to kind of slow things down. I like the pace of the game.
I am making one change. I am adding a 4 hr time limit to keep people from suing their script alerts.....
Scripting is still possible but it will probably just put the scripters to sleep. That actually suits me just fine... I have a ton of very fast scripter games on my server that they can play in if they wish... This one is just for me and I am playing it actively.
