Dear Tradewars Community I would like to apologize for the complete crash of my TWGS shortly after my latest re-bangs. I have no idea why, but I lost all my vcl40.bpl files. I have never heard of them, but apparently they are quite important. I tried everything I could to fix the problem without losing any of the current game data. I tried to deactivate and reactivate all the games. I tried to shut down the server and restart it. I even tried to clear excess files off my computer and defragment it. I then tried to download it again from EIS without uninstalling it and chose the repair option, but that also did not work. In the end I had to uninstall everything, then download and reinstall TWGS. Unfortunately, all game data, across all games was lost. If anybody has any ideas on how this might have happened, please let me know so I can avoid it in the future. I feel like I have let everybody down, and I don't want it to happen again. I'm in the process of reloading all the games into slots, and will announce the next re-bang shortly. If there are any edits that you would like to see banged, give me the details and I will endeavor to add them. Thank you in advance for your kind understanding. |
