I am using win98 to host TWGS server. The icon normally appears in the tray. I had to reboot today, and it is still running but doesn't show in the tray. I loaded the twgstray.exe (or something like that) and still nothing. I had this problem before and that is all I had to do. Now nothing happens. I think I have it set to run as service, with icon showing in the tray, minimized, and online when windows starts. How can I get to it now?

I am having this same problem. This time I can't get it to correct. With no tray icon I can't view the server options on the host computer

it does the same thing on windows server 2003, you can set it as a service and let it run, the twgs will run okay but no tray icon, and you can't get it to come up, I think JP is aware of it, but not sure.
you may have to take it down as a service and make sure you have the proper things checked in the configure tab for it to show up, if one thing is out of place it will not show up on other windows O/S'. But no matter what you try it will not show up on windows server 2003. Once you take it off as a service and see it all is checked that is needed to be then put it back up as a service and see if it works, sometimes you have to take and close the twgs out all together too to get it to do right.
I hope this helps you.
Also have some questions for you. Is the host puter online or at home? And if at home is it on a stand alone puter to host the twgs? If it is then you may just want to leave it running without running it as a service. Also do you remote access the puter that hosts the twgs, if you do then don' log out of it just click the X in the upper right corner of the rdp connect window to disconnect from the host puter, this disconnects you from the puter without logging you off, and that way the twgs stays running with the host puter, I have to do this with my online webserver to run my twgs there. But I wish it would setup as a service there properly tho.
All in all that should help you on keeping the twgs running full time.
Let me know if it works for you.
