Dang, LoneStar that is a brilliant observation! I would have never even considered that. If you could please let Stein know of the specifics, hopefully he will be able to fix in a near future version.

Anyone know why that might happpen? Sometimes I'm just playing and for no reason at all, Swath justs drops out.... then i have to disconnect from the server because swath needs you to, to restart. I use ZOC too, and it has NEVER done that. Its a NEW computer to, so i know its not memory related. Other than that Swath is great!

try turning off the auto save option. I've noticed that swath does the same thing when when it's busy processing alot of data (like when gridding), and then tries to autosave.

Also, if I try to save data manually -with the autosave off- after a long time and while Swath's busy with alot screen updates, it does the same thing...

Thank you LoneStar. I'll try that too.

Well my thanks LoneStar. That seemed to be the problem on my side. SWATH now runs smoothly and does not stop or drop at all. Never thought of that.

Appreciate the insight.

LOL, I'm glad my 'trick' worked for you all.. I had the same problem and just figured my computer wasn't quite up to snuff; Swath being a huge resource hog.
