I am having a seriously hard time connecting to servers, and when i do i lag like crazy, i am running windows 7, i have the swath and the twx.05 that are made for windows 7, anybody got a clue, cause i really want to play, but cant when i cant connect or only connect for a few lagged out minutes at a time. Nothing seems to work properly anymore, and i cant believe that every server i try to connect to is a lagfest server. Any help is appreciated here people.

Are you running twx 2.05? if not please try that

Well, there's not really enough info here to solve any part of the
problem... or even make a remote guess as to what the problem
is. Best I can do is offer generic "diagnostic" advice.

The first step in a problem like this is always the same: isolate down.

First, load putty or telnet and see if you can connect to the server
directly. If you can't, then you know either your Internet connection
is having problems, there's a firewall blocking you, or you're typing
the wrong address in.

Once you have that working, add in TWXproxy. Telnet into TWX
and have TWX connect to the server. Again, if a new problem arises,
then check TWXproxy first (always check what changed first) then
check down the line like addresses, firewalls, etc.

Once you have that working, add in swath. Repeat the process.

Thanks for the suggestions, i seem to have narrowed it down to a router problem, ill figure it eventually i hope.
