For those interested in the next turn based game that will follow KI, it will be TCW ( http://www.blacksuntwgs.com/cw_1/index.htm), 800-1k turns, 7500-10k sectors, 6 man corps. Post here if you are looking for corpies, or if you get a corp together, who is playing so people know.
As a reminder, please do not stack teams, and try to cycle a few players so everybody sees different teams. Thanks to all who played last time, it was a blast.

I second that, The first set of edits (KI) were a blast. Anyone who didn't play the first one i suggest you drop in on this set, if its anything near KI, it will be fun.
On a another topic, looking for a corp that not already full or a couple of players who want to corp together. ICQ me 253-487-552.

The Corporate Wars edits are fairly stock. Nothing too far out there. No hidden surprises with ships or planets.

OK, I'm in as long as I don't have to hop a quick plane back to China. 26 hops from there makes for 500+ ms and playing impossible.

I think KI edits are the best that exist, but I'm slightly biased. I've looked at TCW edits, and they are very stock-ish. The primary changes seem to be the twarp colt (colonizing and potentially easier furbing), the 2 tpw twarp constellation, the scanner on the missile frig (for d-photon), and the desert planet with it's ore and fig production.
Seems to me it might be better for the current state of TW to have games with around 4/corp instead of 6. Just a thought.

Anybody have any input on 4 vs 6 man corps? I do plan on doing Chess edits soon, which are 4 man, so I was thinking a little larger to allow some newer players to find experienced teams. And yes TCW's main changes are in Cit times, most ships have twarp, tholian cannot land.

i spose i can play corp wars again. as long as jhereg doesnt have nightmares or anything its cool. heh. as for the team # ima have to go *against* ck's idea as i was thinking the same as you jhereg, add a player, let some new people on the corp, etc.. as well, MY goal, is to have pretty even teams, and make it fun for all.

A balance of power is good. An interesting idea towards that end would be to allow corps to fill the first 4 slots, and draw from uncorped players for the remaining slots. And a corp of 3 would draw the necessary number of players, while a corp of 2 would be added to a corp of 4.
