Looking to see if anyone needs a corp member. I used to play back in the day say 10 yrs ago. I have played some games recently and i guess i would say i am more used to slower play games. But i am willing to learn. I went ahead and got SWATH and some of the scripts on their website. But willing to learn anything anyone can teach me. I would prolle be able to put in about an hour a day at key. Let me know.

What kind of games do you like to play? Turns or Unlimited? I would say start in a good turn game and ask around to see if anyone will take you on. Some people are more than willing to help out a new player. Unlimited turn games are tough and not the best for a new player to get in to. Read up on Sinularity's stuff and visit http://www.TW-Cabal.com lots of good info on there.

Well, I have a no death delay game that as far as I know is still a friendly game if you want to get reaquainted. You already got Swath, did you get TWX? Both are almost essential now to play. There are other helpers out there, and everyone disagrees about which is best, but Swath/TWX is what I use. You also need to visit http://www.grimytrader.com to find scripts to use. This site here, if you can figure out the new format (sorry had to plug that) is the best source for information on the game. You can also visit http://vulcansforge-online.net/ Some of us that don't like the recent changes to this site are frequenting that board more often.
I, like you, just came back after an extended downtime and found this game to be at a whole new level, that is still beyond mine. But I'm learning, and decided to host just for fun. Now I host, and don't have time to play!
Welcome Back, enjoy the game.

From what i understand swath/twx can be bothersome, at best. Its all up to the player. Some use Zoc/twx combo. helps just to mess around with a few different combos.

I play with different combos for different things. I use ZOC/TWX for some things, SWATH/TWX for other things, and ATTAC/TWX for some different things. So far all work well with TWX, at one time I had ZOC, SWATH, and ATTAC running thru TWX at the same time, and no problems.
Really it is up to the player as to what he/she prefers to use, all work great and have their strengths and weaknesses with gameplay.
Edited for spelling
