is there a yes/no toggle in twgs, that protects players from accidentally blowing themselves up if they adet a planet with colonists stored in product categories?
I seem to remember being podded a few yrs ago, under those circumstances.

I am not sure exactly what the conditions have to be, but I have been podded doing what your talking and survived other times. Maybe someone knows the formula or could explain it.

ToyMan, it seems like nobody has an answer for ... "when are you pod'd if adet'ing a planet with cols"
I saw it happen to my partner about 3 days ago. He was surprised to find himself in a pod.

Why is this an inconsistant event?

I might test it tonight and see if I can find a pattern.

ADET = Atomic detonator. It's what you use to blow up a planet.

The odds of getting killed with it is based on the number of cols
on the planet. Someone might have already done that research,
I dunno.

there is a formula for this , but I don't know it.

But one of 3 things happen ...
1) planet gets blown
2) cols prevent det.
3) you blow up with planet.

Best way to prevent this is to have a script that can detect cols and kill them before you blow planet.
