Huh, i never knew that existed. when you press $ at the TWGS menu. you get a XML dump of all games and game data on the server. its kind of slow spitting it all out. but convenient for a bot to look for games and settings on servers like micro blasters site. version 2 of course. |

Unfortunately, the values in the tags are just copied verbatim from the '*' game settings list. They still contain units and stuff, so you still have to do some parsing if you want a numeric value. You don't actually gain much over just parsing the '*' list. I doubt any helpers are actually using the '$' data, so there's still opportunity for improvement. |

thats true. good point. i was surprised when it happened though lol * is faster anyway. |

Microbot uses this data, but from the main menu. Pressing $ at the main menu will dump XML data for all games on a server. There is a longer delay if the server hasn't updated this data within the last hour and has to regenerate it. |
