TEDIT question, menu item "A"-Aliens Editor
I am running TWGS v 3.34b. Looking at TEDIT's main menu, the first two items, "A" and "B" are editors for Alien and Ferrengi ships. The Aliens editor lets you choose ship numbers from 0 to 50, the Ferrengi editor has ship numbers 0 to 40. Menu Item 4, "Active Aliens Editor", lets me choose ship numbers all the way up to 333 each for Ferrengi, Alien Traders, and Mucoids. Am I correct in that Menu items "A" and "B" refer only to "internal" Aliens? That leads to my next question: If I set up some Gold aliens, as I obviously have, does that automatically disable Internal aliens? I seem to recall that there are settings in BigBang that control several aspects of how the Aliens and Ferrengi are set up, but it's been over a year since the last time I banged a new game, and my memory is getting hazy on how that worked.
I've seen some discussion threads on the advisability of running Internal and Gold aliens in the same game, and I seem to recall that it's not a good idea for some reason. Maybe because it could result in conflicts and duplications in the aliens' ship numbers?

Internal aliens are not disabled, unless you turn them off during big bang... Running both is NOT recommended!
