Ok, I'm building a custom game. Right now, I am working on ships. I made two new ones. I replaced the scout with a custom ship and I replaced the IC with a custom ship. Both ships showed up during development and I could buy them and use them. I went ahead and banged the game to get the aliens working using the existing game files. Now the scout ship is missing. I have checked everything, the ship is edited properly but does not show up in the game. The IC replacement is there and functioning well. I did not add any extra ships. I just replaced the ones I have so the number of ships is default PS: And yes, it's got an ID number and is set to general deployment and activated. |

Ok. I did add an extra ship. I created a new Alien ship. That makes the ship count 27 (if you count zero). Am I limited in the amount of ships I can have? If so, why did it choose to push this one out? ID 2, |

MB, can you send me a TWA for this game and I'll take a look? |

On a similar topic, I have an idea for a gameop setting. Why can't the gameop or developer of a new edit specify the ID of the ship brand new newbies get, and also the ID of the ship people get when coming back from a #SD#? That way, for instance, really forgiving ops could put you back in a merchant cruiser after a #SD# whereas totally cruel people could start total newbies out in a pod! Lol! |

Ok, maybe I'm just a dumb grey. I just went in and created another new ship (to replace the ISS) and now, out of the blue, the scout ship has magically appeared in the game. WTH??, lol. If I didn't know better, I'd say it was some sort of cache glitch. |

Ok, never mind. It's still broke. The ship appears from the ship list from the computer prompt, (C.C.) but is not available in the stardock for purchase. |

Thanks, MB! Sorry I didn't have a chance to look at it for you. |
