Ok, for the last couple days, i have been running a world trade script as an evil. I am accomplishing 2 things, one I want to be the top dog, experience wise (I know it's useless, but it's fun so leave me alone) and 2, i am searching for someone i think is cloaked. The script I am using is VITO's World trade Script.

No problems until today. I have busted twice now at ports I am trading at. The first one i wrote off as probably being the last port I actually did bust at so I avoided that sector and went ahead. A short time later, I busted again.

It's popping me while i trade. I scrolled back to make sure the script didn;t try and rob somehow and it didn't. It was a straight up PPT.

Now correct me if I am wrong but if I have 'clear busts' set to 1 day, and I haven't done any stealing in at least 2, then I should not be busting right?

How many days before busts clear? If you ran WSST for a while there maybe allot of ports out there that your busts have not cleared on. Most default games are set for 7 days, check days the game has been active that might give some more info for you.

I checked. It's one day. Been at least two since I robbed wssm. That means they clear at extern right?

It looks like extern might not be running correctly. Since it is your server you might want to try running extern manually then re check settings.

I'm going to try restarting the server.

I had something similar about a year ago, I found one of the games was corrupt and it was stopping extern from finishing.

Well crap. I just restarted the server, no change.

Might archive it and send to JP for him to look at, sounds like the game data is corrupt. Or you might try creating a new game, run big bang, then copy all the files from one folder to the other just to verify if it is really the game data.

Do I need tom rebang the game? isn't there a utility in the editor that lets me fix corrupt files?

Ok, did a backup. Will send it to JP, then ran the gold repair doohickey. Didn't change a thing. My only recourse is to rebang the game now. This just sucks. this is the game everyone is playing right now.

4 days ago is the day I upgraded to 2.11.......

Check your email JP. I sent the game file over. Only this game is affected. Not sure what happened. The game file became corrupted, I believe, when i upgraded to 2.11

i have saved a few games by banging a new game and copying the contents from the old folder to the new game folder, then activate and test new game letter.

Please save out the data before a rebang, because I can use it to hopefully identify how this happened and fix a bug. I gave you my email in pm, so email me the TWA and I'll see what's up. I can probably even fix it and return it to you if you want to keep the game going.
