Not sure what's going on but one of my users just messaged me that they couldn't get into the server.

I checked the ports, =ok
I checked the router =ok
I checked the main server =ok

The server was online but showed no players. I tried closing the games, then reopening it and I still could not get in. I finally closed the entire TWGS application down and reopened it. This seemed to solve the problem and all ism well now.

I have a feature on my router that automatically does a restart each night. Maybe TWGS needs to consider the same thing? I will be honest here and tell you that I have not checked the server operation in several weeks. Maybe it's got some sort of small memory leak locking it up?

LOL... I am guessing there is another issue, and I like my static IP

I will try again, later. I just tried with my phone same thing. No connection. Not a big deal as I was not going to play just help test the connection.

Really? I don't have any IP's blocked. Should be wide open.

try 66.250.49.130:23 and see what happens.

(your sure you are typing twgs.twarbase.com)??

MB, do you use peerblock at all?
That might be the source of the problem.

I was connecting to twarbase.com the image is a little misleading so I tried twgs.twarbase.com and I connected just fine.
Ansi is a little big (lot of info) so without scrolling back there is no way to see the game menu in a normal telnet window. I am sure it is fine in Swath.

lolo, Yeah, it is fine in Swath. I hear your complaint and will see what i can do to shorten it all up a bit. BTW, you do know there is a menu selection that allows you to view the announcement again right?
