Tried to request my reg. codes from within the TWGS. Error was cannot contact mail server. Used my own mail program, got:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
support@eisonline.com

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.0.0 <support@eisonline.com>... User unknown

So apparently that part of the server is non-functional.

I tried e-mailing jpritch@eisonline.com and have heard nothing there either. Is the ability to retrieve codes gone? I would even just purchase a couple more nodes and slots, but am hesitant now with the flaky e-mail.

Hi Slinky,

It has been a few months since I have emailed JP, but he normally responds in a timely manner... He is probably un-aware that there is a problem with his mail server...

I'm getting:
451 4.3.2 Please try again later

Does anyone have another way to contact JP and let him know his mail server is down?

Thanks for the reply Micro. I feel like an idiot double posting this in 2 different areas, but I thought after a few days the first post would not show up.

I have all the software (TW2002, Gold, TWGS) registered from a few years back, but just recently lost a box of papers that had a lot of door reg. codes in it. I would gladly just buy a couple more slots and a couple more nodes for the new TWGS version, but with the e-mail like it is I'm hesitant to do it.

The old codes gave 100 nodes, which was way over my casual needs.

Your old codes will work with the new version, and JP wouldn't have any problem sending them to you if his email server was working.

The support address still appears to be down, but jpritch@eisonline.com appears to be working. Try sending your request to that address.

I sent 2 e-mails last week with a couple of days between the two. I used jpritch@eisonline.com. No bounce messages, but no replies either. I also sent a PM to him on the forums here that is still unread.

Vacation? Hopefully something simple like that. I can only think that eventually they will get replies.

The mail server is at least giving a slightly different response now, albeit not a good one:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain eisonline.com by inbound.eisonline.com.netsolmail.net. [206.188.198.64].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.0.0 <support@eisonline.com>... User unknown

So.....
Since our programmer in chief is un-reachable, I have a question about the in-game upgrade function. Has anyone RECENTLY (last week or so) successfully used the TWGS upgrade feature? At this point I don't care if I have to pay a couple of bucks to get some more nodes. I never needed 100 to start. I just want to know if it's an automated process (that still works) or does it require intervention from someone that is currently non-responsive?

I think that feature generates an email to support@eisonline.com

I sent a message to him on FaceBook:

I sent him a message via Facebook also. I hope he checks his "other" folder.

I find it hard to believe that he's the only person in the world that has access to registration records. I suppose not many people are trying to register or recover numbers anymore, so this is a non-issue to everyone but me :-(
