Game files missing
Have you ever seen it when you are playing a local game and the game slot becomes empty for no apparent reason? I had to reboot for Windows updates and when I restarted TWGS, the game slot was empty. I searched the EIS folder and no record of my game existed anymore. Ideas? Theories?

Re: Game files missing
Game Slots, and game location are stored in the registry under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Epic Interactive Strategy\Trade Wars 2002 Game Server]. If your computer was lost power without being shutdown properly, then Window may have failed to save recent changes to the registry.
Newer versions of Windows have User Access Control (UAC) enabled by default. With this enabled, your actual game files are relocated to %appdata% (I think). I highly recommend turning UAC off before you install TWGS or create any games.
TWGS was designed for Windows XP, so running it on any newer OS may have unpredictable results.
